Mono Printers

Most businesses running a production printer also need somewhere to send the everyday work. Delivery notes, picking lists, invoices, internal paperwork. Putting those through a colour machine burns expensive toner on documents nobody looks at twice.

A mono printer is the cheap answer, and OKI’s two current A4 models cover most of what a working business needs.

The B433dn prints at 40ppm from a 250 sheet tray, with a 100 sheet multi-purpose tray. It also takes label stock, which makes it useful for despatch labels as well as paperwork.

The B513dn prints at 45ppm and holds 530 sheets, so it needs refilling around half as often. If it is going next to a busy despatch desk, that is the one worth paying for.

Otherwise the two are closely matched. Both print at 1200 x 1200dpi, deliver a first page in 4.5 seconds, print automatic double-sided, and connect by USB or network. Both support PCL5e, PCL6, Epson FX and IBM ProPrinter emulations, and both work with Windows and Mac.
