The MC554dn is the office all-in-one: print, copy, scan and fax on A4, in colour or black.
For a business running production print, this is the machine that handles everything the Pro Series should not. Scanning signed artwork approvals, copying job sheets, printing invoices and delivery notes, faxing when a customer still insists on it.
It prints 32ppm single-sided and 16ppm double-sided, with a first page in 8.4 seconds colour and 7.4 mono. The 500 sheet main tray takes a full ream in one go, with a 50 sheet multi-purpose tray for envelopes, labels and heavier stock. Connection covers USB, network and Bluetooth, it is AirPrint compatible, and it works with Windows and Mac.
One thing to be clear about. At 600 x 600dpi this is built for documents, not for anything a customer will judge you on. Rough internal proofs, yes. Final artwork, no. Our colour printers run at 1200dpi and the Pro Series at 2400dpi.
